I’ve always been keen on military stuff, and even though I’m not an expert, I know a fair bit about the Marines, partly from reading and also ’cause I’ve got a buddy who served. So, from what I gather, the Marines are basically the U.S. military’s rapid response team. They go into really rough situations where there might be conflicts or disasters and sort things out. Day-to-day for a Marine can be hecka different based on where they are or what their assignment is. When they are not deployed, I think their daily routine includes a lot of physical training, drills, and sometimes classes on various military subjects. From what my friend told me, when they’re deployed, every day they’re doing something mission-related, whether that’s patrols, guard duty, or something more intense.
